In 1996, HWDDC developed a comprehensive walking
tour of the Historic Warehouse District which encompasses approximately 43 acres and
contains more than 70 remaining structures. These structures represent some of the finest
examples of Victorian architecture (circa 1850 - 1920) in the United States.
Prominent buildings in this area include the
Rockefeller, Perry-Payne, Hoyt, Bradley and the Western Reserve Buildings as this is where
Cleveland's early industrialists made their fortunes. What makes each of these buildings
unique? You'll see as you take your own virtual stroll through District.
