Sparx City Hop
Saturday, September 11th

The 8th annual Sparx City Hop is Saturday, September 11th. From 11:00a.m. until 11:00p.m. Sparx City Hop is a free all day event celebrating the visual, culinary and performing arts of Cleveland's most central and metropolitan neighborhoods.  Free trolley service by Lolly the Trolley allows individuals and families to "hop" through the neighborhoods within and adjacent to Downtown.  Over 60 galleries and artist studios, over 100 restaurants, several markets and dozens of specialty retail shops will once again be a part of City Hop. In addition, there will also be a variety of sidewalk concerts, main stage performances, special gallery and studio events, the Tower City Street Festival, Sparx Classic Car Show, and much more. For a complete list of everything that is happening visit www.downtowncleveland.com/sparx

Sparx City Hop Passport Program:
This year, City Hop introduces a free new promotion, the Sparx City Hop Passport. The passport has two uses: it acts as a trolley pass for participants in this year's City Hop and it will list over 60 special offers at participating City Hop locations. Not only can passport holders take advantage of these specials during City Hop, but they can enjoy these same specials throughout the year. Beginning on Saturday, September 11th and lasting until August 31st, 2011, all promotions in the passport will be available to passport holders. The passport is free, but will only be distributed in two ways: look for it in the September issue of Cleveland Magazine or get your passport at City Hop at one of the designated trolley stops. Visit www.downtowncleveland.com/sparx to learn more about the passport and where to pick up it up.

Sparx City Hop is presented by Downtown Cleveland Alliance and is made possible through the collaboration of its Down and Aroundtown partners which includes: Historic Gateway Neighborhood, Historic Warehouse District, PlayhouseSquare District Development Corp. The Campus District, St. Clair Superior Development, AsiaTown, MidTown, Tremont West Development, Ohio City Near West Development and Flats Oxbow.
